The Beginner Ultra-Micro Heli with an Extra Shot of Excitement |
Like the original Blade mCX, the Blade mCX2 is easy enough for anyone to fly and small enough to fly just about anywhere. The mCX2 has the same coaxial, counter-rotating rotor head design as the current mCX, but it adds an extra shot of excitement with user-selectable swash sensitivity and flashing LED lights that are built right into the body. The pilot can change the control settings to enable this heli to perform at higher speeds than the beginner settings. This helicopter also boasts heading-lock like performance for maximum control. It also boasts more powerful motors and a higher capacity 120mAh battery pack. The mCX2 is the ultimate beginner friendly machine with unsurpassed stability, incredible control, and extreme durability.
With a factory-installed 5-in-1 control unit with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM2 compatible receiver, main motor ESCs, mixer, gyro, and fully-proportional servos come pre-installed. This Bind-N-Fly version without transmitter is perfect for those who already own a DSM2 aircraft transmitter. The Blade mCX2's ultra-micro size and weight make it possible to fly this heli anywhere indoors. It all adds up to more fun than you ever thought possible with a coaxial ultra micro heli, whether you're a newbie or a pro. A Blade mCX2 RTF Version is also available.

blade hit a home run with the mcx2, tough , easy to fix, great price on parts and and very easy to fly.

I received a mCX2 a few days ago and i have already flown it a few hours. Smooth, easy, stable machine like the rest of the E-Flight line, If this is going to be you intro to R/C helis, then go ahead and get it, but if you already have the original mCX, don't bother to get the 2, there's not a lot of difference in flight characteristics between the two, The 2 is a bit more powerful, it jumps off the floor with ease and controls seem a little smoother. Horizontal flight however is just about the same, even when I changed the links to the longer swashplate control balls, it was only marginally more aggressive. The 2 uses the shorter flybars from the Tandem which makes throttle inputs a bit more responsive. The 2 does come with blinking navigation lights which makes it a little easier to keep an eye on, especially in a dimly lit room. If you have already cut your teeth on the original mCX, skip the mCX2 and move on to the mSR.
