An Ultra-Micro RC Helicopter anyone can fly - no experience needed |
7-1/2" rotor diameter, nearly 8" long, 1 oz. (28 grams!) flying weight. Blade MCX is 100% factory-assembled, test-flown and ready-to-fly, no assembly or setup required. It can be flown just about anywhere: an office, a living room, a small bedroom, a garage, or in your kitchen. Coaxial, counter-rotating rotor head design cancels out the torque effect that makes flying RC helicopters so difficult. ELFH2200 is Ready-To-Fly and comes with everything you need to get into the air.
Blade MCX Ready-To-Fly Includes:
- 4-channel transmitter equipped with Spektrum 2.4 GHz DSM2 technology, digital trims and dual rates
- Factory installed 5-in-1 control unit with Spektrum 2.4 GHz DSM2 compatible receiver
- Main motor speed controls
- Mixer
- Gyro
- Fully proportional servos
- LiPo battery
- LiPo battery charger
- AA batteries
Spektrum DSM2 radio technology eliminates interference so you can fly multiple helicopters with other pilots at the same time. Blade MCX's ultra-micro size and weight are perfect for indoor flying (or outdoors if there is no wind). Install the AA batteries, charge the flight battery (takes approximately 20 minutes) and go fly. No gluing or painting required. A Blade MCX Bind-N-Fly Version is available for RC pilots who already have a 2.4 GHz transmitter.

My first heli it is awesome very durable and very flyable the learning curve is quick. Get an extra battery and inner shaft with hub holds flybar crashes will finally break the fly bar loose. Over all I love it and recommend it for fun and practice great for winter time indoor flying in average size rooms no huge area needed.

this is a great helicopter to start out with if your new to flying easy to control long lasting flight time and super duriable. i would defently recomend this helicopter to a newbe at flying, theres plenty of local stores that carry this helicoter and it parts and its a very easy heli to fix. the only probels i have had with it is that the part that holds the fly bar on the very top were it forks is very weak and to many crashes and it will send the fly bar flying in the air. over all a great helicopter to begine with i would recomend that you buy a extra batteris and by some extra parts just in case.

I've been flying RC planes and helis for years and this is the most fun I have ever had. Everything they claim about this is true. I was hovering on the second battery. In a few days I was doing forward flight. It's amazing how stable and durable the mCX is for it's size. Once you are away from the ground effect it will literally hover by itself. One tip: Buy at least two extra batteries.

I am an intermediate moving on expert pilot. I got this heli for my birthday to just mess around with. This heli is easy and fun to fly. The controls are very responsive and quick. It is also tough. The only part I have to replace were the rubber O-rings the hold the canopy on because they got old and crumbled apart. To test how tough it is, I have hit walls, the pull strings on ceiling fans to turn them on and off, and oh people and I haven't broken a single part. It has fallen from over 30 feet high when a bird hit it and it survived. I recommend this heli to any beginner pilot or if you want something to mess around with.

I have been tinkering with the Havocs from the "WAL" and the dual rotor Mosquito's from the "Shack" and have been sorely disappointed in the number of control options and handling characteristics. I was ready to try and move up but had no cash. Then I remembered the pile of R/C planes and junk I had in my moms shed. I traded it all in on a brand new E-Flight MCX.
I had been doing some research and had settled on another brand and model that was a size bigger, had a metal frame, and metal parts. But due to the constraints of the deal I settled on the "plasticy" looking E-Flight. Let me tell you, looking at the smooth metallic parts of my first choice compared to this smaller, cheaper looking unit, I was initially not impressed in the least.
As soon as I get the box open and start looking, I begin to change my mind. Metal gears, SOLID plastic construction, precision everywhere!! This wasn't a Havoc or Mosquito, this was something different. The transmitter looks cheesy but feels well made and is smooth and a delight to use. After making a mental note of how solid the rotors fit to the shaft and how everything looked tight, I charged up a battery and gave it a shot. I bumped the throttle and she lept up to about 8 inches and hovered flawlessly. I was AMAZED. The controls were smooth and fluid, and the response was crisp and instant. I couldn't believe how crisp this thing rotates on its axis. Not only does it maintain near perfect hover position but the thing stops spinning on a dime. You can walk the clock nearly to the hour with this thing. I have never flown a 4 channel heli before other than on a simulator (100% fatal crashes every time) so this was an interesting first flight. I started to ease the yaw around a few times, then I started to move forward, backward, and side slip left and right. I couldn't believe how easy this was. In 5 minutes I was doing laps around the room. Not to say that I have mastered the controls, but the learning curve is quick and easy. I love being able to fly sideways or rotate in a circle while fixing the nose(or tail) on a center spot. If you have any experience flying those cheap helis and want to step up, I highly recommend the E-Flight MCX.
