AXI 2826 Series Outrunner Brushless Motors
6.4 oz weight, 1-3/8" diameter, 2-1/4" case length, 5mm shaft diameter. High torque motors for models 53 to 106 ounces.

Mounting Options
These motors can be mounted behind a firewall with 3mm screws (HLH8730) or, with the addition of the Radial Mounting Set (PM282002), they can be mounted in front of a firewall, particularly useful in glow-to-electric conversions.

Controllers
Use Jeti 40 to 70 Amp Advance PLUS brushless motor controllers (see examples below).

AXI Outrunner brushless motor

This special high performance power unit consists of the powerful AXI 2826/08 GOLD outrunner and the high quality planetary gearbox PG 4/33 with 4 satelites. Unique connection of AXI outrunner and light weight geabox brings the possibility of spinning an extremely large propeller compared to the size of the unit. AXI 2826/08 GOLD LINE with PG 4/33 is especially suitable for the narrow fuselages of large sailplanes, up to 7000 grams (15 pounds!). This power unit runs at a very high RPM and must never be run in a no-load condition. Use a high quality controller like Jeti Advance PLUS or Jeti SPIN. Using an AXI Cooler (PM28006) is highly recommended.
