Firebird Electric Ducted Fan ARF Jet from Hobby Lobby!

29" wingspan, 28" long, 18 oz. flying weight. OUTRUNNER motor, ducted fan unit and speed controller INCLUDED! Airplane is all molded foam, durable and fun to fly. Only two micro servos are required along with a radio with Elevon mixing. Instructions include an addendum for the ducted fan installation. The included power system consists of a high RPM brushless OUTRUNNER motor, a matching 22 Amp brushless speed control and a 65mm molded ducted fan unit. The ducted fan unit comes with a 6 bladed impeller. We recommend that every-other impeller blade be removed, making it a 3 bladed fan unit for flying faster for the advanced pilot. Airplane is easy to hand launch, two grips are provided on the bottom of the fuselage. Flight performance is very solid, the speed is quick but not blistering fast, landings are slow. Reinforced belly pan protects the bottom. Good instructions. Assembles in a couple of hours and is easy to build. Flight times are about 10 minutes.
