AXI Silver 2208 OUTRUNNER Motors

AXI Silver motors are OUTRUNNER brushless motors manufactured by Model Motors, maker of the number one OUTRUNNERS known as AXI Gold. AXI Silver OUTRUNNERS are the same size and weight as the AXI Gold OUTRUNNERS. They are about 2% less efficient than AXI Gold, which means that their flight times with the same size battery will be about 2% less. AXI Silvers mount exactly the same as AXI Golds and use the same radial mount set (PM22002) and prop saver adapters (PM22003 and PM22004). AXI Silver OUTRUNNERS include a 3 motor wire gold connector set with the male pins pre-connected.

AXI Silver 2208 Series OUTRUNNER Brushless Motors
1-3/32" (27.7mm) diameter, 1-1/32" (26mm) from back to front excluding shaft. Hardened motor shaft is 3.17mm (1/8"). Motors weigh 1-5/8 oz. These high torque motors will direct drive large propellers without a gearbox for airplanes from 7 to 18 oz.

Mounting Options
These motors can be mounted behind a firewall (use 3mm screws from our Metric Hardware) or, with the addition of the Radial Mounting Set (PM22002), they can be mounted in front of a firewall.

Controllers
Use JESAP08 Jeti 8 Amp for 2208/26 and 2208/34. Use JESAP18 Jeti 18 Amp for 2208/20, and props from 7x4 to 10x5 (see examples below).

AXI Silver 2208/20

For 4 to 8 Ni cells or 2 to 3 Li-Poly cells, 7.5x4 to 9x6 props. 1600 RPM/V. Max loading 15 amps/60 seconds. Includes pre-connected 3 motor wire gold connector set.

Use with 4 cells and a 9x6 prop.
Use with 6 cells and a 8x5 prop.
Use with 8 cells and a 7.5x4 prop.

The controller for 2208/20 is JESAP18 Jeti Advance PLUS 18 Amp Brushless Controller:

Use with 2 LiPoly and a 8x4.5 prop.
Use with 3 LiPoly and a 7x4 prop.
Use with 8 cells and a 8.5x5 prop.
