I flew some 040 planes some years ago and never really got off the trainer cord. It was really frustrating. I made up my mind a year ago that I was going to be successful. I bought 2 different planes from your competitors and they would not fly for me and when I asked an expert, he got one to fly a little and the other not at all.

I bought the Wing Dragon...I watched the cd a couple of times and carefully put the thing together. I read your flight instructions a couple of times. I did wait until I had a still night. I rechecked again and again. I even checked the distance from the wing tip to the rudder. When I finally lofted the plane, I was so nervous that my knees were knocking. Lo' and behold the thing flew. I probably was a real sight out there flying. My wife was in the van watching and she knew this would be another flop. I have been telling everyone that I had control of that baby ½ of the time but in actual terms it was probably only 20% of the time. I kept flying and when I brought it in for a landing it just settled right down. I have since taken it out 4 more times and take 2 shorter flights to get practice each time. It still looks like it has never flown. Wow what a great plane for the beginner. I am a 67 year old beginner but loving every minute of it.
