They are rigid so they can not break an internal wire as a flexible short antenna might. About 13" long. Drill a 1/4" hole in the boat deck and mount the nylon base unit. (The deck can be thin ABS material or up to 1/4" thick.) Attach the end of your receiver antenna to the removable connector. The base of the whip is spring-coiled, and the antenna itself can be removed without removing the base. |
