Fully programmable 90 Amp opto brushless controller

2-5/8" x 2-1/16" x 11/16", 115 grams (4 oz.). 90 Amps continuous, for 16-30 NiCd or NiMH, 5-10 Lithium cells. Use with large OUTRUNNER motors in demanding applications. Solid screw-in-place installation, 3 rubber grommet shock mounts. 2.5mm silicone insulated wire on motor leads, 3mm silicone insulated wire on battery leads. 13" long wire to receiver. Connectors included. No BEC.

Large 2" x 2" x 5/16" aluminum heat sink dissipates excess heat to keep the controller in a safe operating temperature range.

Atlas motor controllers will work with all types of brushless motors. Atlas controllers come pre-programmed and are ready to use when you receive them. Additional controller adjustments are available; most can be accessed and adjusted with your transmitter, but for easier programming, use the included program card to set all your options. This only takes a few seconds. Settings can easily be changed at the flying field without the need for additional instructions or a computer.

Atlas Black Opto Controllers: When you need more than 3 Lithium cells in your flight pack it is necessary to use an "Opto" controller. Opto controllers do not have a BEC (battery eliminator circuit) to power your radio receiver and servos. An alternate power supply is necessary. Use either a standard 4.8V receiver battery pack or a UBEC (KFS001 - KFS003). A UBEC is a device that reduces the high voltage of your flight batteries and supplies regulated power suitable to run your receiver and servos.
