Fast, Agile, Fun - the "next step" heli after coaxial |
Weighing in at under one ounce, the nimble Blade mSR Ready-To-Fly takes ultra-micro helicopter performance to the next level. It comes from the factory completely assembled and flight tested with everything you need to get flying. At the heart of the Blade mSR's design is a Bell-Hiller rotor head that provides the kind of speed and agility you would expect of a single-rotor heli but maintains a measure of positive stability similar to a co-axial heli. This blend of agility and stability makes it the ideal “next step” for someone moving up from a coaxial heli, such as the Blade CX3 or Blade mCX. For single-rotor ultra-micro heli excitement you can fly almost anywhere, the Blade mSR simply can't be beat. A Blade mSR Bind-N-Fly Version is available for RC pilots who already have a 2.4 GHz DSM2 transmitter. Blade mSR Ultra-Micro Helicopter Ready-To-Fly Includes: - Perfect for anyone who has flown a Blade CX3 or mCX

Thiis is a fantastic choice for a beginner with either coax or even just simulator experience. (I bet it would work for as a first helicopter for someoone with the patience to take it slow but admittedly I had some prior experience.) After struggling with the Honey Bee (which was also questionably billed as a beginner helicopter) I scaled down to the mSR and it made all the difference in the world. A beginner can fly the mSR indoors in a 12 x12 room-- the Honey Bee, not so much. The mSR is incredibly stable. Just give it throttle and it will hover on its own inside a "2 foot box" with no operator input. It is this stability that allows a new user to gain familiarity with the controls. The other great thing is how tough it is. It is so light weight that not much energy is involved in a crash. I have crashed mine probably 40 times into a wall, 20 times into the blacktop, 50 times into furniture and it still flys great with only minor glue repairs (no repalcement parts required yet). Get an extra two batteries at $5 each and load up the well thought out charging station with 4 batteries for continuous flying. At the advertised price, this is an incredible value. I have never been more satisified with an RC craft.

Excellent little helicopter. Got this at my local hobby store just yesterday and it's fantastic. My first RC helicopter was the Blade mCX2 and I flew it for 5 months. This Blade mSR is an excellent next step. I wouldn't recommend this to a first time flyer, but someone who's mastered at least one previous helicopter. If you're looking for an RC helicopter, then this helicopter is for you!

great heli for the flyers that are going from co axel to singel axel. super durable flown it into the side of my house about 100 times still no damage. more durable than the mcx and dont have to worrie about if you reck were the flybar will go like on the mxc. for new pilots flying these start in a large room very big mucho grande this thing is super fast and needs alot of space i would recomend starting out side with no wind. ive had mine under 64 housr and im already starting advanced foward and backward flight . all in all very fun heli super durable great value!!!

This is a great helicopter and is easy to fly(similar to flying Blade Mcx). Battery life lasts about 5 minutes. Trim it out and you can hover it without any control inputs. This is a great helicopter for indoors. I have not taken it outdoors, only because of weather. Has a lot of power and can go almost too fast for a small room. You will enjoy it.

This is my first hobby grade helicopter. The helicopter I had before this was the Air Hogs mini heli and I felt that I could skip the coaxial heli step. I was right, the Blade MSR is awesome and easy to fly. I have been flying it for about 2 weeks inside a 20x10x10 room terrorizing the cats and I can not get enough of it, now I want a Plane to go to the local park with. It has been windy so I have yet to have a good opportunity to fly outside but I think in calm conditions it will be great.
