Christen Husky Scale RC Airplane Kit

85.2" wingspan, 57" long, electric version weighs 10.5 pounds, glow version weighs 8.4 pounds. The HUSKY is a 1:5 scale model based on the full-size machine stationed at the Hahnweide airfield near Kirchheim-Teck, Germany. Like the original, the model is fitted with landing flaps. The full-size aircraft is renowned for its low noise levels and proudly bears an "Environmental Protection Angel" decal and in keeping with this, the model has also been designed for a particularly quiet power plant. The Husky kit is richly appointed. For example, the two-part motor cowl and canopy are both CNC-machined. The wing is a two-part construction like the full-size. The ready-made one-piece undercarriage is supplied as a molded GRP item. The laminated balsa outline frames of the tailplane and fin are supplied pre-formed. The kit can be built as an electric or four-stroke version. Contents of the box: quick-build plan showing R/C installation, illustrated building instructions in German, English and French. Precision cut stripwood, die-cut and printed balsa and ply sheet, laminated outline frames for tailplane and fin, machined solid balsa wingtips, vacuum-molded cowl and canopy, CNC-machined vacuum-molded wheel pants, high-strength GRP main landing gear, 4" AIR-UL lightweight wheels, large decal sheet, hardware pack, and R/C installation pack.
