The DHC-2 Beaver by DeHavilland Aircraft is the icon of the Bush Plane category. To this day it is one of the most expensive single engine piston aircraft available. It was selected as one of the ten greatest successes of the Canadian economy for the last century. Wherever access to remote lake or hunting areas is required you would find the DeHavilland Beaver providing yeoman service.

The model of the DHC-2 by Flying Styro is complete and detailed in typical Flying Styro tradition. The basic specs are: 43-1/4" wingspan, 28" long, 221-1/2 sq. in. wing area, 20 oz. flying weight. We are offering the version that includes both the floats for flights off the water and the wheel landing gear for flights from the ground. Flying Styro kits are highly detailed and this is no exception, a fully detailed cockpit and instrument panel and flight yoke is included. The dummy radial motor detail and scale floats really add to the overall scale impression.

Model is pre-painted and a set of waterslide decals is provided. Even with this level of realism the model is easier than many of the Flying Styro planes to assemble; a lot of work has been pre-done for you. Depending on what level of detail you wish to include, the plane can be flight ready in 15-20 hours. With the recommended AXI motor the model has plenty of power for both land and water flights. For 4-channels: Ailerons (2 servos), Elevator, Rudder and Throttle.
