49-1/4" wingspan, 49-1/4" long, 565 sq. in. wing area, 46 oz. flying weight. This smaller cousin of the Katana S50E was designed by Italian aerobatic pilot Sebastiano Silverstri and based on his KatanaS Tournament Of Champion’s airplane. Lightweight laser cut balsa and plywood structure is pre-built and covered in heat shrink film. Tinted canopy comes completely trimmed and pre-finished including magnetic hold-down. Cowl is epoxyglass and ready to mount. Airplane has the power to perform elegant aerobatic maneuvers with ease. Elevator and rudder servos are mounted near the control surfaces; stiff, short pushrods give precise control. Laser cut motor mount is a perfect fit for AXI motors; thrust adjustments are built in. Wing joiner tube is lightweight 13mm carbon fiber. There is no wing flexing during extreme 3D flight. Wings are removable for easy transport and storage. Instruction manual is 19 pages and over 50 black and white photos cover each step of the build. Includes suggested control settings and CG recommendation. Expect to spend 6-8 hours build time. Recommended for intermediate to advanced pilots. For 4-channels: Aileron (2 servos), Elevator, Rudder and Throttle.
