ME-262 Scale Single Seat Jet Fighter Plane

Fast scale airplane of the world's first operational jet fighter

43" wingspan, 32-1/2" long, 255 sq. in. wing area, 26 oz. flying weight. Twin ducted fan jet with lots of power. Flies fast with solid handling whether being flown fast or slow. Airplane is all hollow molded foam construction with wood and plywood reinforcements. Detailed cockpit and instrument panel, scale landing gear struts, pre-finished camouflage paint job and full color waterslide decal sheet. Airplane includes pre-bent wire landing gear and lightweight foam wheels; additional vacuformed parts add scale detail. Plug-in landing gear is for static display. Airplane has the power to take-off from short grass by sliding on the nacelles, or easily hand launched. The airplane comes with detailed exploded view drawings. Photo's and illustrations guide you through the assembly. While not difficult, prior modeling experience is helpful. For 3 channels, Ailerons (2 servos), Elevator, and Throttle. A functional rudder can be added with the addition of a fourth servo and the use of a 4-channel radio.
