P-38 Lightning ARF Electric

The scale P-38 that all the others will be measured against

43-3/4" wingspan, 30" long, 243 sq. in. wing area, 24 oz. flying weight. Amazing detail, the art of the model airplane brought to a new level. Model is pre-painted hollow molded foam. Many vacuformed plastic detail parts, wheels, landing gear struts, gear doors, drop tanks, air scoops and radiators. The mass balances on the elevator are faithfully reproduced. The interior of the cockpit is also provided, right down to the gun sights. While a great deal of work has been done, there is still a lot of assembly for you to do. Included is a 14 page photo illustrated instruction manual. Flight performance is very good with the motors that we recommend and the plane is easy to fly. Landings are slow and soft and hand launches are just a light toss. Model comes with scale landing gear for static display. Three channels are required: ailerons (2 servos), elevator and throttle.
