Carbon Edition of the Racing Micro Magic

The Graupner Racing MICRO MAGIC Carbon Edition was designed to reflect developments in the MICRO MAGIC racing scene, and in its standard form constitutes a version intended for ambitious regatta work. Vacuum-molded, CNC-machined hull, deck, hatch cover and keel mast socket.

The keel fin and rudder are injection-molded in glass-fiber reinforced plastic for outstanding stiffness. The fore-and-aft position of the keel can be adjusted by up to 5 mm, enabling the operator to fine-tune the boat to suit the prevailing wind conditions and personal preferences. The slightly reduced areas and slim profile of the fin and rudder result in reduced drag.

Factory-made, pre-sewn sail set made of highly efficient, lightweight, water-repellent, ICAREX PC31 fabric. Lightweight, rigid rig consisting of CFRP tubing. The boat features a one-piece mast in order to obtain a strong rig without the need for a spreader. The rig is based on newly developed, high-quality plastic fittings which are very easy to fit. The boat is designed for a jib trimming servo, so that you can fine-tune the sail trim while the boat is running. In general terms the whole sail adjustment system is low in friction thanks to the double control arm and dual return pulleys.

The high level of pre-fabrication ensures that the model is quick to complete. The carbon-look ABS material and decal set eliminate the need to paint the model. The racing MICRO MAGIC requires no sailwinch, and is therefore inexpensive to purchase and outfit.

The basis for this boat is the familiar MICRO MAGIC, which now features a more up-to-date appearance. Particularly striking features are the straight bow, angled stern and angular hatch cover. In spite of its unusually small size the racing MICRO MAGIC is a full-value regatta model yacht which is controlled using all the usual functions. The racing MICRO MAGIC is suitable for light to moderate winds and its compact size makes it extremely easy to transport, perfect for taking on vacation.

The upgrade parts included in the racing MICRO MAGIC kit can also be fitted to the standard MICRO MAGIC (GR2114), and even an existing model can be upgraded in this way.
