The FEMA On-Board Starter cranks your engine over fast. It starts your engine quickly. Even "air-starts" can be done easily. FEMA On-board Starters can be installed in almost any RC airplane that uses .40 size engines or larger. The FEMA starter motor can be mounted anywhere in the roomy part of an airplane fuselage well behind the slim nose because the starter motor is connected to the engine by an extended shaft. You can cut the shaft to any length you need. A complete FEMA Starter System with a nicad pack weighs about 24 ounces. If you have a balky engine that's difficult to start you should know that our FEMA On-Board starter can make over 100 successful "starts" from one charge on a 550 mah nicad pack.
