39-1/3" long, 8-1/2" beam, 68" mast height, weighs 8-1/2 lbs., 565 sq. in. sail area. Graupner Trueblue is a semi-scale 1:30 replica of a 30-meter luxury sailing yacht. Kit contains ready-made components for quick assembly; no parts have to be trimmed or adjusted. A plastic fairing covers the lead keel ballast and protects it from damage. The mast is constructed of lightweight aluminum tubing. Made of injected molded plastic, so no painting is required. Two full size super torque servos are used in tandem for the sail winch giving you precise and immediate control of the sails. One full-size servo is used for the rudder. Controls are sail setting and rudder. Trueblue comes complete with tough rip-stop sails, epoxy glue and special glue for deck sealing. A decorative display stand is included. Requires 8-AA batteries for the transmitter and 4-AA batteries for the receiver. Illustrated instruction manual is well written and parts are labeled for easy assembly. Trueblue is suitable for an intermediate level sailor and recommended for light to moderate winds.
