I really like this airplane! It's not as quick as the Sukhoi 26xp when doing tricks, but it's just as fast (or faster since it has a sleeker profile) since both have the 8.5mm coreless motor. The Polecat doesn't have ailerons that go from the wing tip to body like the Su26xp so the roll rate is slower which can be a relief on those days when you don't want to go nuts in the sky.

I've been flying it with the factory setup of the pushrod being in the outer hole on the aileron bellcrank so it doesn't snap roll very fast like that. I think I'm going to move the pushrod to the inner hole just to see what it will do compared to the Sukhoi 26xp though.

I did one flight with the elevator and rudder pushrods set from the factory (outermost holes) but when landing I got my hemostats and moved both of the pushrods to the middle holes for more response since I fly outside and the wind is a factor.

One thing about flying a 3D mid wing plane... it goes where your last maneuver left it pointing. Since there is no undercamber on the bottom of the wing, there's no automatic lift built into the wing. The Polecat's wing is made for speed and 3D manuevers and It does both of these nicely!

I really thought this would be to fast for me but it was fantastic. I thought my p-51 micro was faster than my pole cat. I admit I only got to fly for about 7 min at dusk but the plane was extremely stable in its handleing and responsive while remaining control. Lots and lots of fun.
